Dr. Payel Peris
Payel Peris, DMD, developed an interest in dentistry as a child, drawn to the unique blend of creativity, science, and hands-on care that the profession offers. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Biology from Rutgers University Newark and earned her dental degree from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. She further improved her skills by completing a one-year General Practice Residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Dr. Peris is dedicated to lifelong learning and regularly participates in continuing education to stay at the forefront of modern dentistry.
Dr. Peris views dentistry as an art, focusing on delivering quality care and ensuring each patient feels valued and understood. She finds it incredibly rewarding when her patients leave her care not only healthier but also more educated about dentistry. She is committed to providing exceptional dental care, offering routine procedures such as fillings, crowns, and root canals, always with an emphasis on patient comfort and satisfaction.
She is a proud member of the American Dental Association and the New Jersey Dental Association, staying active in the professional community.
An immigrant from Bangladesh, Dr. Peris has been a Jersey City, NJ native since moving there as a child in 2005. She enjoys traveling, hiking, chasing sunsets, staying active, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
